Roberta Benedict has over 10 years of research experience in nanotechnology, printed electronics, energy storage/ energy harvesting devices, and has published numerous related peer-reviewed journal articles. She also holds three patents. Roberta is an adjunct faculty member in the Chemical Engineering department at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She was the co-author and senior researcher for NSF STTR and SBIR grant while working with Cellec Technologies. Since joining BRI in 2018, she has worked as a writer, coach, and reviewer on multiple NSF grants, including S-STEM, IUSE, CAREER, MRI, and Noyce. Additionally, she has served as lead evaluator for NYSED Math & Science Partnership and 21st Century Community Learning Center, and NSF S-STEM grants.
